Eva Shirt
Cotton printed in black, ecru and red, with long sleeves and a straight cut: the Eva shirt brings colour to a season that tends to pull the wardrobe towards dark.
Eva, black, ecru and red
Three colours and no more, which turns out to be plenty: the red catches on the black while the ecru lets the whole thing breathe. The Eva shirt has a straight cut and a 68 cm length that covers the top of the hip, easy to wear over trousers or a straight skirt.
Matt cotton
100% cotton, a matt fabric that holds a print without giving it any shine. Sleeves measure 60 cm and the chest 54 cm, so the line stays close to the body without restricting it. This kind of cotton ages well and takes day-after-day wear in its stride, so the shirt stays in the weekly rotation.
How to wear it
With raw denim, ankle boots and a black leather jacket, the print does all the work. For something softer, slide a fine ecru roll-neck underneath, leave the shirt open and belt it over a long coat; the red reads even louder. A cropped jumper over the top works too once the temperature drops.
Size and measurements
One size, FR 38 to 42 (UK 10 to 14, US 6 to 10, M/L). Total length 68 cm, sleeve length 60 cm, chest 54 cm (measured flat, garment laid out). Maria, our model, is 171 cm tall and wears the shirt loose.
Care
Dry cleaning is what the house recommends for this piece. Between wears, a pass of steam releases the creases without flattening the fabric. Keep it on a wide hanger, away from direct light.
Also worth a look: the other printed and plain shirts, the bohemian tops and the accessories from the collection.
