It is cut from 100% modal, a fibre smoother and denser than ordinary viscose, with a very discreet matte sheen. The cloth does not bulk up under knitwear, which is exactly what you want from a shirt worn underneath something else. It hangs straight and holds few creases through the day.
How to layer it
Under a cropped fine-knit jumper, collar open and the shirt hem left showing over wide trousers: the simplest layering is still the best one here.
